Alzheimer's Services of the Crescent City is a nonprofit organization founded for and by family members of people living with Alzheimer's disease here in the greater New Orleans community.
Our services include, but are not limited to:
Resource Room providing information on local resources and the latest developments in medical, legal and stress reduction literature
Joyce and Paul Stall Virtual Support Group available 24/7 to alleviate the stress and isolation of caring for someone living with Alzheimer's disease
Education to caregivers and the community at large through seminars
Respite care - up to 4 hours in-home per week
Alzheimer's Services of the Crescent City is caregiver driven and centered on keeping the family living with Alzheimer's disease as healthy as possible.
All money generated by Alzheimer's Services of the Crescent City stays in the New Orleans community.
Alzheimer's Services of the Crescent City aims to provide a comprehensive support system for the families of people with Alzheimer's disease from the time they learn of their loved one's diagnosis to the end of the struggle with the disease. Our efforts and resources are anchored in our community.
