Baton Rouge Lutheran School offers a challenging, traditional academic curriculum with instruction in computer using laptops and Chromebooks, foreign language, art, physical education, vocal and instrumental music. Supplemental programs encourage young students to read aloud with family members and develop math skills using web-based software available for home and school use..
Small class sizes, modern facilities and dedicated faculty encourage academic, physical, emotional, and spiritual growth. Classrooms include age-appropriate technology for hands-on student learning.
In an atmosphere of Education Anchored In Christ, daily religion classes and weekly all-school chapels provide a foundation of Christ-centered beliefs.
Parents are informed, involved and always welcome on our campus. The school, founded in 1957, encourages open communication a private website.
Parents enjoy the convenience of school uniforms, hot lunches, free transportation, on-site access to tutoring, speech therapy, and childcare before and after school and holidays.

BRLS is Awesome! I have one girl in 7th grade and another that move on to high school well prepared. The one in 10th grade placed 1st in district rally test and went on to state testing. Its a wonderful school for Christian Values and a great education!

The Christ-centered education is what initially encouraged me to enroll my daughters; however, there is more the school offers. The small class sizes not only provide the teachers one on one time with the students, but allows the parents to get to know one another and become involved in their children's education. I appreciate the dedication, experience, and knowledge the faculty and staff share with my children.

My wife and I planned to send our daughter to a Christian school so that too would be a part of her walk through life. We chose BRLS not only because of the strong academics and staff but also for the strong "Education Anchored in Christ" she would receive. From pre-school to eight grade she has grown stronger in her faith and was very well prepared academically for St. Michael High School. We highly recommend Baton Rouge Lutheran School.
